"In terms of location, it is set just far back enough off the main O'Connell Street so that you don't hear lots of traffic noise but close enough that it was a 3/4 minutes walk to the main Street where there were shops, restaurants and the main travel routes."

Excellent Hotel Experience!

The breakfast was quite good with plenty of options. I found the room to be very clean and well serviced. The service was especially appreciated. The location provides convenient access to the city center, taxis, buses, and the Luas system.
The lighting in the room was the worst I have ever seen. The housekeeper was very loud early in the morning while talking on her mobile phone in the corridor. I found the man at check in to be quite rude this time, though he was pleasant previously.

mixed feelings about this hotel, honestly

the staff at reception was kind and friendly, SO THAT was nice.
our room was small. i mean REALLY small. the bathroom sink was over the toilet, an odd design choice. it was hard to fit our luggage in the room at all, TOO.

The location was very walkable. The bar was nice. I highly recommend their martinis. Bartenders were helpful.
The noise from the fan outside my window was too much. It stopped after 11 and started again at 6. For the price, it is not a good service.

The hotel's location was good for sightseeing.
The room felt small, especially the toilet space. My leg kept bumping the toilet roll holder (kind of annoying, i have to admit). Turning on the shower meant instant wetness, there was no way to avoid it. This setup seemed like poor value.

I loved the central location. The hotel was close to many attractions. Breakfast had fresh food always. I found the room compact, ideal only for sleep.
Water wasn't provided in rooms. I had to ask. i was told to use the tap in the bathroom.
